and cheaper from the chinese. These are copies of HW and RWS but more closely from Dianas'.

Bam 26 w/ rekord trigger equals the 34 model for $160.00

Bam 30 a COPY of the RWS 48 @ $160.00

Bam 40 equals the 460 for $255.00

Bam 28 equals the 350 for $195.00

The fact that the chinese B30 is a copy of the 48 does not mean the same specs, but a very good copy for the $$.

The bam 26 with a REKORD trigger for $160 with the same FPS as the RWS 34 is interesting.

How does that saying go about imitating and copying something?

I will keep ALL my RWS, none are for sale, they are all KEEPERS.

I saw that post on the Yellow Forum, and then I realized it was you posting! heheh

The prices are not bad. Have you been able to find who offers the 350 clone for $195?

Do you know what I found out for you today? Got a surprise, you listening?
MidSouth is selling the 34 Panter in .22 for $159!! I 'm getting one! Says low stock. Better hurry whoever wants one! They have plenty of .177's. I 'm not sure which caliber I want.

Harry do not get the

M34 panther.

the M40 is better and uses the spring of the M48. Yes the spring in the M40 is the same as the M48.

the M40 is the twin brother of the M36, not the M34.

the M40 is way more than the M34, same wood stock different (color in panther) and different spring.

trust me or find out by yourself.

a $20.00 maccari spring (M48, GRT) in the M40 will transform it into a 700 fps in .22 cal.

Forget the 40! Get the real thing now!

January 13 2008, 7:45 AM

Harry, forget the 40, get the 34. A rws will be worth the small difference in the long run. I saw that price you mentioned. I was not going to buy another gun for a while but that price is a real great and will not be there long! Thanks for the info/

BAM for is a repllica of the TK 200

January 13 2008, 4:51 AM

Warren, I am not sure I am following you. The Bam 40 is not a clone of a 460. but a air arms tk200. In fact Gaylord did a review of this gun. The TK220 is on of his favorite rifles. He said the Bam 40 was an exact repelica of the TK200 and in fact shot better. A bold statement considering he has always commented that the TK was one of the finest shooting rifles made. Maybe I am misunderstanding you.

Bam Bam

Warren the Bam 40 is a copy of the Tx200, that the Bam 26 is a copy of the Beeman R9, not the Diana 34.

EQUAL's on those, not copy or the same there is a difference. The copy is the BAM 30 of the M48.

Re: Bam Bam

Yep, and a pretty fine rifle it is. Granted not a Diana product but the rifles are pretty well recieved. Just take a look at the Chinese forum page on the Yellow forum. Lots of posts dedicated to the Bam 40.

They have their finish quality issues but for someone who can't afford a TX they're awfully close for the money. Looks, handling, even the trigger is not bad from what I've read.

I think that for what they are, and the ability to be more easily tuned, the price point of the Bam 40 is not a bad choice.

Some people will say that buying one is handing money right to the communists' hands. But anyone who buys a Chinese airgun is not likely imo to pay out the money toward a double-the-price British made "original". And the guys who really know have said that even the TX is really a copy of some other air rifle so...

I'd rather have the TX but I wouldn't not take a Bam to see what its capable of. Heck, I have a quite accurate B20 which is rough around the edges but shoots about equally with anything I have.

Good Rifles

January 13 2008, 8:59 AM

The Bam 40 seems like one of the best buys in air guns. I would love to shoot one just to see how it compares to my 460. One thing for sure, the price is right for a good that is now getting serious condideration.
