I am thinking of a side or under level

In .22 cal

have the 48, which is the same as the 52, so forget the 52

then got the 460 under level

and the 40 and 34, nice but not side or under levels'

the 46 comes to mind, but I do not have enough info on it

the quest is on for the next one, is it going to be the 46, I THINK SO

Stutzen in .22

According to DIANA Mayer & Grammelspacher GmbH & Co.KG, yes, the 46 Stutzen is available in .22, but can you find one? Another thing it took me quite a while to figure out is that the barrel length is NOT the same on the 46 and the 46 Stutzen: the 46 is 17.3" and the Stutzen is 14". This is why they show lower velocities in the Stutzen. Still, a very pretty gun.

I owned the stutzen in more ways then one but my brother ran it over...lol.
The diana model 54 airking is amzing. The sliding action gives it no recoil and so accurate..Both guns are sweet warren.

Sorry Warren ...

I've always loved full stocked guns this one seems just right . I've found them for sale at many places in .177 but not .22 .As Duncan says above Diana does list them in .22, finding one seems to be the trick . If you happen to find two - you know where I am , 'k ?

quick and dirty info on the stutzen

January 14 2008, 4:20 PM

per Dianas' site

44" overall lenght of gun, the 34 is 46"

fixed barrel

barrel lenght is 14", the 34 is 19.5"

8.1 lbs, vs the 34 @7.5 lbs.

670 fps in .22, this is close to the M34 which is 690 fps
890 fps in .177, 860 fps for the 34 (?????) I don't get this info

the .22 do exist, per Diana's web site

warren

PS; per PA site, prize is

34 = $199.99
Stutzen is $369.99

Yup they are listed

January 14 2008, 4:47 PM

but seemingly unavailable.

What part of the fps figures aren't you getting? The manufacturers stated velocity or the after-import- new-upgraded-make-it-faster-because-thats-what-sells velocity ?

That was a brain F...rt from my part

January 15 2008, 2:39 PM

Kr

just like you said the stutzen is a 46 dressed in a Tuxedo, it is still a 46 with a nice wood stock.

the fps issue was a brain fa.t by me, forget it. The 46 is lower than the 34 and 40 model.
