It seems we've gotten the bug for ten meter shooting. Its a great sport and the rifles are unmatched (pardon the pun) in accuracy to sporter rifles. But there's another, less expensive way to get into this kind of fun. Ten meter pistol shooting.
You can shoot any pistol and if you keep at it you'll improve. If you don't yet have an air pistol you can get into one of the best bargains there is with a single stroke pneumatic made by IZH Baikal. Its known as the IZH46M.
I have one myself and they are great shooters. Five way adjustable triggers, adjustable grips, and dead nuts accuracy right out of the box. In other words don't adjust the sights when yours arrives. They'll be exactly where they're supposed to be when you get it.
The Daisy ten meter pistols are another great way to start. QUite a bit less expensive, they offer the same accuracy but without the multi-adjustable trigger. It really doesn't matter. These are excellent first choices and it will take the new ten meter pistol shooter a long time to outperform even these.
So without further adieu, here's some info on my own personal ten meter pistol, the IZH46M:
