I just got a copy of the brand new (To me) Umarex catalog today and WOW! This fledgling company has hit the ground hard, and hit it running!

This is catalog updates the Company's developements since 2006. Please note that the new Ruger and Mendoza lines aren't listed in this Catalog...

Gone are some familiar RWS models (like the 24, 28, 40, and 45 to name a few) however The basic 34 is still there as are the 48 and 54. buget replacements filling nitches come from the Hammeri line also the Walther levergun. The Pistol section is awesome (including 4 new .48 cal Paint/Rubber ball Pistols! It's definatelly a new world!

Apparentlly we all have a lot to look forward to in reguards to newproduct development and I think we are going to have an intresting future with these folks! Seems new stuff is announced daily!

Mmmm 28 !

Really though - the word a few weeks back from Glenn Seiter was they were going to bring over some 28's along with some .25's of the side lever variety  . That *is* good! If only that 46 Stutzen could be had in a .22 .... or better still a 460 *Stutzen* .22  Yeah Baby ! I'd hit it in a heartbeat .
I have the new catalog also ,and agree that there is alot of neat stuff they offer up .
Hit the ground running is correct .

what is interesting is that they took out the M40, does it mean out of production for 2008?

remember both you and I have the 40, if they are not making them anymore we might have with other folk's the last of the Mohicans'

warren

and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter"

RWS 34 Meisterschutze Pro/ Pro Compact is the old Model 40 for all intents and purposes .The Panther Pro/compact are one and the same same thing but with a synthetic stock (and much tighter toleranced ).

Same/same - different name/number.

what?

January 23 2008, 4:49 AM

The word Diana is not mentioned once in the entire catalog!!

It's all about the name RWS..

Dave:
Does your 460 box say on it: "The Most Powerful RWS model"? No? well mine does, and that's all that counts

Wow!

Wow Harry, that is exactly how I perceive how the young fella that owns a "Crosman Quest" feels. 'IT'S THE GREATEST TO HIM AND THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS"!

And so Harry, your so very right!

Good shooting!
