actually I think Diana lists them as a 31.
Decent carbine break-barrel springers really appeal to me.
Swell plinkin', pestin',huntin' and carryin' airguns!
When you have 13,14,15 FPE in a .177 to .22 break-barrel
springer that's not to heavy and to long ya have a lot
going on or going for ya. Capable of taking care of most
smallbore airgun business this side of 50 yds.
No pumping 8-10 times per shot - one cocking stroke and
you're there. No gas that starts to go into a coma when
it's cold outside. No diving gear and/or super bicycle
pumps required to keep the gun 'alive'.
IMO a Diana 34 carbine can hang, can do whatever a Webley
Xocet/Stingray and BSA XL/Lightning can do. Heck even
hang with those little classy Theobens. Crap on the snooty,
snobby thang - I'm not hung up on expensive stocks, perfect
bluing, etc. A carbined R9/HW95 would be cool too but IMO
it isn't going to make a rat's ass diff in the field, in
the shooting and hitting stuff from bottle caps to squirrels.
Rekord! Rekord! Rekord! Fine! But those groups you Rekordists
are shootin'/postin' don't look any better than many groups
shot from Gamos, Dianas, etc.
