I just picked up a model 34 .It was sitting in some guys closet for 11 years .Had two belt clips of plastic tins (crossman copper head)Owner said had he only fired it about 20 times after he bought it.Got the original receipt has all this on it.Counted the pellets and there was only 18 pellets missing. He is older and has bad shoulders and said it was just to hard to cock for him.The 34 looks brand new .Was in the box when I picked it up.With warrenty card.Would like to know the best way to lub the chamber and spring also does it have silicone seals being that its at least 11 years old.Should I just take it apart and lub. I have M-2-M moly past and chamber oil also cyclinder spring oil .Would rather not take it apart if possable. Thanks jerry

On the top of the reciever/action by the trigger, does it read TO-5 or TO-1?

I don't know that much about how long the Diana 34s were made so its unlikely this one would have a leather piston seal. BUT... if it has a three ball sear, taking it apart will cause a bunch of little springs to come a-flying out in all the wrong directions.

In all reality you could probably shoot it without harm or you could send it to Ed K for a basic tune. I don't have the website handy but he'll make sure your rifle is set up the way it should be. Generally it seems that not just Diana but most airgun manufacturers don't put much lube in their rifles from the factory if at all.

That's a find of a lifetime if you ask me. Good for you
