There was a guy who, in the late seventies I thought it was, used match precision airguns to minisnipe with his pals at ranges of.. thrity five yards I think?
They were using nine millimeter shells and they had so many to hit within an alloted time. Tom Anderson reminded me of this along with Herb when they posted about the ranges we shoot. Then we got into ratios and now I'm trying to remember WHO it was and what article he wrote regarding how that was done.
At thirty five yards I suppose any scope would do, really. I want to try it open sighted personally though.
Was there even a limit imposed as to how much magnification could be used for the game?
Nggaaaaarrrrr now I want to find that article again... hahaha
