Dave, I have to apologize to you for the content of my last post. Should have re-read it before I hit that send button. My intent was not to criticize you directly. My concern is that there are so many posts about the "newest, fastest" on the market, and so few about the truly fine older guns that are out there. My 460 is a fine gun but in my opinion doesn't match up to many of the older Dianas that I have. The race for "newest, fastest" may be leading new shooters away from experiencing some of the joys of shooting the older pre-magnum single shot guns. Apology offered, and I'll go take my meds now.
Missydad, no hard feeling. I have done the same thing myself in the past. We still want to hear about your guns, I especially the "75"!. Seems like they are like master pieces! How long have you had it?
to apologize in public and give the explanation of not just why but by writing what you wrote makes you a taller man in my eyes.
Dave can sometimes be a pain in the butt, saying that on the right side I can say he is devoted to the RWS airguns and that is my interpretation on the left side
now to go out on the farthest limb out here, there is no way the 460, 48 or 54 IMHO has more power than the 350, GOD I know the heat is coming my way for this statement
acurracy and velocity; why not both. more power less deviation from accuracy. less power then you get pellets all over the target and have to compensate for it at 20, 30 or 40 yrds. yes we have power junkies in this forum that claim FPS from hell
I am one that believes in 850 to 900 FPS in .22 cal, that gives me power and FPS, if I want more then I will have to buy a .22 rimfire gun for $300.00 instead of a $900.00 scoped airgun
warren
PS: and welcome to the forum missysdad
and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter"
