Just added a new lady to the harem. She's just turned 21 and came in the original blue and white box with the hang tags still attached. She's a model 45 in .20 caliber, barrel stamped 12-87. Had my gunsmith look her over and he told me she had never been outside the shop. I don't have to chirp about the fit and finish, it's premium, as all of the old Dianas I've found have proven to be. Went to the "Man Cave" as soon as I got her unpacked to see if she could perform as well as the other ladies and got quite a suprise, SHE'S BETTER. I don't know about other's with similar rifles, or this model, but this one supprised me. Accurate is an understatement, it shoots ragged one hole groups at 10 meters with open sights. I have a few of the newer 45's but I think this one can out shoot them. Any imput about this rifles strong or weak points? Hey to Dave, sorry about being such a bu-- he-d, thanks for all of the info you've supplied, wouldn,t have bought my 75 without all of your imput.
Distinguished by the pin above the trigger in the stock. leather seals on those models if I'm not mistaken. Good balance of power and accuracy although some won't like them because they won't shoot PBA ammo supersonic.
Those that know their springers though appreciate the smoothness even though velocity is in the 6's in .22 cal. Nice find on a great gun.
"but I'll be needin' that gun, fer squirrels and such."
Wish I had a camera but I spend all of my $$ on these toys. Love all of them.

Missys dad,
I have to give you credit, you must really be good at finding the cream of the crop. I won't ask you where you found this Goddess, but could you share some hints on how to find old RWS classics. I am sure the guy's here on this site, which are dedicated RWS owners would love your comments.
I had a 10 and a 24. Wish I would have kept the 24. You also have a 50. That's a neat rifle too bud. What's the age on that one? I had a commemorative 45. Now I have an oddball factory black walnut stocked older 45. Shoots soooo slick. Rick was talking about how Marcelo's cut the spring on his to make it even smoother.
Hey, where in the name of (insert diety/respected entity here) did you find some 20 cals???
Hi.I bought a 45 from a very nice gentleman here in San Diego a few months ago.Ad was in the local classifieds"German air rifle,scope,mounts,$60".I called, asked if he knew the make and model, and when he responded with words that made sense,I told him it was sold and I would be there presently.Done deal, model 45,like new, serious whack on a fence about 30 paces away, clean hole right thru.BTW,I gave him a 50 and a 20.Sometimes you just MUST get lucky, tomas
