Just a quick question. Nice to see a forum set up almost exclusively to RWE Dynamit Nobel fans. I know some the guys on this forum would be ready to push the button to start world three at just the mention or comparison of the Diana to a Chinese, Spanish, Turkish gun etc. I would imagine that just the dollars spent on RWS by the folks on this forum alone would be well into the hundreds of thousands. Now how many of you have actually registered you gun when you bought it. I would assume most. Now the big question.

HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE RECEIVED THE NEW DYNAMIT NOBEL NEW CATALOG #15?

I registerred my RWS...

February 10 2008, 4:03 PM

Simply because it is a class, quality, piece of equipment. The BAM, and Crosman's, serve a purpose, but they can't compete with the quality of an RWS.
Fact is, I'll be mashing the button on a Panther in the very near future...

Oh....no, I haven't recived that publication.

Howdy Tim!

February 11 2008, 4:05 PM

I usually buy mine from PA... $187.00 less 10%, is about 161.00 plus shipping, back to the 180.00 something price. That's cheap for me, cause much as I'd like to drive down to Savannah, it's just so darn hard to cough up the gas money these days....but you never know...I'd sure like to see that store, and I love eatin' down at the Crab Shack down near Tybee....we'll see, it might all come together yet Tim.

you have the Crosman 1000 Quest?

I have 4 RWS air rifles in .22 cal and hush the crosman quest 1000 in .177, I call it the BASTARD tried to get rid of it many times but like a bad penny comes back

it has more nick's and scratches than all of my rws because I use it more. it is a tack driver and powerfull indeed, light and easy to use

happy to know other more experience than me have the same gun

warren

and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter"

Tune it

February 10 2008, 5:48 PM

Warren send it off and get a good tune and new spring. I hear they make great guns. I had one and loved it. I may just buy one for old times sake.
I think Charlie de tuna tunes them as well as Rich from Mich.

Tim

February 10 2008, 8:29 PM

You got me all wrong Tim! I 'm not bad with skinning. My wife doesn't want the dead squirrels in the house at all, and is not interested in eating one either. I don't really "give them away". I now eat them with my neighbor as of a few weeks ago! I 'm just not a very good cook or never got into cooking but my neighbors had different ways of cooking game. only problem is he uses bacon in almost everything he cooks or tons of butter and I have to watch my cholesterol. I used to take rabbit to my mom's house and she 'd cook it for me years ago. I 'm old fashioned and feel the women should do the cooking

Rabbit is not hard to skin. It's perfect for beginners to get their feet wet, or should I say hands

I signed up for Cliff's web site but I 'm waiting for the e-mail confirmation that I have to reply to. Looks like a new forum.. Good luck Cliff!
I 'll be posting some hunting pics there soon. If not new, I have a bunch from the last couple of months since I got my own digital camera. The wife prohibited me from using hers on dead animals and went through great lengths to hide it :=)

Cliff's forum fell off the cliff? :)

February 11 2008, 4:24 PM

Well I have not received my e-mail after it said "thanks for registering, you will receive an e-mail.." or something along those lines.

I think this site is very new and Cliff has not worked out the bugs yet. Maybe he is just learning now like Tim..

I 'm with you Tim. This is my home of forums. I visit several others but this is my home base, my Lady (Diana) forum, my headquarters, central dispatch!

February 12 2008, 4:32 AM

I have visited Cliff's site and I know it will be Great. I will register and visit it often.
However, Dianawerks Collective" is my home. I will always remember the kind words in a e-mail sent to me by Dave N. (ZVP) when I first logged on. This forum is like a brotherhood so to speak. A lot of New people like myself and a lot of old air gunners like Herb, Bill, Missysdad, Warren, and others that are there to give great advice. Like a good brotherhood, we squabble, sometimes, throw a few jabs here and there, but always come back as friends. I hope to share many more seasons with more seasons with these great guys. I wish Clift all the luck in the world.

Good shooting!

Hey Warren, Harry...

February 12 2008, 4:38 AM

Yup, I've got a Quest, after a homegrown, shadetree, tune/lube, it a sub dimesized shooter averaging 925fps with 7.7gr pellets.
I've got a Sierra Pro(sale pending) too, that when gone wil be replaced with an RWS 34 Panther, to go along with my RWS 34.

But I'll be keeping that one Quest... it was my first tune/lube gun, and I use it to "experiment" on,and introduce "noobs" to the sport(EASY cocking) with minimal recoil.

HEY Harry....It's a "free" sight, all kinds of little glitches show up from time to time. But usually, the authorization email get snagged in the spam control of AOL or sometimes Yahoo users.
But welcome aboard to all who venture over.

This is trully a...no, THE Diana site, and my place in no way was started to upset membership on established sites, like this. It was and is, for local airgunners of the CSRA, of which membership is kinda slow....BUT, International memberships will do nothing but improve the knowledge base our people can rely upon, so we do appreciate participation by all, and this forum is also listed in our RECOMMENDED forums list.
