Was cruising the internet and came upon a very informative program. It is a free download that I know I will use and that many on this forum can us. It is a ballistic program that you can use to help sight your scope in. I just used the MAP 6 reticle since it had less lines in it on the graph. You enter your starting MV, the ED(Ballistic Coeficient) of the pellet(it will even calculate this for you), the height of your scope above the bore, your zero range, and the magnification of your scope. You can change your Zero range and it shows graphically the trajectory of your pellet. You can figure hold over and hold under from the graph. Or if you prefer, you can figure the clicks required to readjust your POI to any yardage. You can also change the ED for the various pellets in your arsenal. If you have a .177 or/and a .22, you can just change screens and plot for each. The program is from Hawke Optics and is called the Hawke Ballistic Reticle Calculator(V1.0.3). This program can be downloaded at http://www.hawkeoptics.com/brc/index.htm. Hope this can be of help to some other shooters.

One of those days.....

Dave, I have looked at the interactive also, quite impressive. I went to St. Cloud on the weekend, only about an hour from where I live. Ended up ordering a BKL 260 D7 from reccommendations on this forum from SS Monday morning. Thought it was funny that they charged me MN sales tax on the purchase. Got an email from them telling me that they had shipped the product late Monday night with tracking info. Checked on the tracking info and it said I would be getting the product delivered on Tuesday. One day for UPS ground shipping to out it the sticks where I live? How could this be? Checked the tracking and found out it was shipped from St. Cloud, MN. Do they have a warehouse there? Went online to the SS website and there it was. They are located in St. Cloud, MN. Duh! I could have saved myself the shipping and picked it up while I was there. It is comforting to know that I have a reliable outlet for my future needs in the neighborhood. Anyway, I think I am going to have to make another trip to St. Cloud in the near future. I think I am going to try out one of the Airmax MAP 6 4-12x. The Airmax are rated for heavy recoil and the SR are not. I guess some days it does pay to read the fine print.

use this. I 've been using this trajectory calculator for a while and it works great. The Hawke one is similar.

Forgot something in last post.

What I forgot to say in the last post was that the purpose of my trip to St. Cloud was to try to find a scope mount and some good pellets. Plenty of large sporting goods outlets there, but none had what I was looking for. So.. the story goes on.
