I finally helped my computer challenged father post some pics of his guns! Lighting was not so good and the flash on my camera was acting retarded so they aren't top quality. I dont know much about guns like all you guys do but I think that the custom handles he made are pretty cool! Anyway I will just post the pictures because my dad is pacing around the kitchen dying to get back on here! I thought it was bad when he spent 24/7 shooting his guns but ever since I showed him how to do this...You cant drag him away from the computer! Im glad I finally did this..It was pretty simple for me and now I got twenty dollars to get some more makeup.
What an attractive coloration on those Crosman grips!
I really like the two tone sandwitch on the Sholder Stock! I bet the wood gives a solid feel to the Pistol/Carbines. That was my only complaint when I built my first 2240 Pistol/Carbine, it just didn't have enough beef to it to keep the gun from feeling "Whippy"
Nice finishes Dad!
I Know it's hard to put the Keyboard aside and grab a Tin of pellets when you're starved for airgun information and have just found a 7 course meal of airgun tales...
Thanks for the pics! Your pistols are beautiful! Are they single?
Does the 460 wood look kind of plain or is it me? Not that it looks bad, I mean I don't hardly see any rings in the wood.. Maybe it's the pic or the distance of the gun from the camera. I expected it to be a little darker too more like my 350. The 54 looks superb! I really like a more darker stock.

Hey Martin, the pump pistol is a Crosman 1377. Readily availabe alot of places.(about $55). I had a Cros steel breach on it w/ pistol scope, that breach is now on my 2260. I have an HB-22 (Ben.Sher.) but like 1377 better,(much easier to pump).I have several of the Cros. "XX,s" one like the one you asked about has a 14" 22 cal. polished brl. serious little "thumper"! Good shootin Martin! Tim.

KRickter,, I was pretty proud of my "backyard" "handles", as my baby girl calls them! That stock of yours puts me back in my place!! WOW! Even if I spent 2 weeks shaping that stock,,I could not checker it like that!! KRickter that thing is ART!! My gang?? like unscrupulous gang members,,most lurk in the shadows,,waiting to pounce on unsuspecting victims!! LOL.!! 460?? Scott says bring it in he will put it on consighnment,Ill take it Sat..(&pick up my 24). Or: Ill still ship it to you,,,,,If you think you can tame "THE BEAST",,, Ie: scope mount issues,,Simple tune?? Others brag about smooth shooting 460? Mine is a head knocking power house that could use a little "smootheover"! Rick ,, If you have the time for a project,,?? Ill pay you for your time. E-mail me before Sat. Of course,,"Ill be needin one of those stocks for my XX,s & such"!! Tim.
Thanks for "ooh and ahh!" on the stock ...it's the work of Steve Corcoran & it truly *is* a beaut for sure . I wasn't happy with it at first ...but after really looking at it and seeing how the grain followed the contours and the walnut shades glistening in the light ...I had to admit I was an A$$( or jack a$$ your choice) and way too fussy .
"Smoothing over" sounds alot like "Tuner work" - I am not a tuner though . I tinker for fun . If you were my neighbor ...I would most definitely help you make that 460 *all* it could be , but I will not hire out because it wouldn't be fun anymore .I have to admire folks that can and do such work and live with all the hassle involved as my temperment won't allow it . It's also why I never went to school for auto mechanics . I love working on cars and can fix danged near anything - if it was work I probably wouldn't like it so much .
I need another rifle like I need a pellet hole in the head ...but the 13xx's are "dust collectors" at my home . Both of my 13xx's are being parted out - maybe we can work out something ?
