Model 54 in .25 cal?

February 15 2008, 8:39 AM

I see that the catalog lists the Model 54 as coming in .25 cal. Has anyone ever seen one? I have the 54 in .22 and the 48 in .25. A 54 in .25 would be an awesome piece of equipment.

They also list the FPS of the Model 48 in .25 as 610. Mine throws a 21gr Diana Dome at 710fps. Is that the difference between European legal standards and US standards for energy produced?

I do not have the answers to your questions but this is dainas catalog not umarex usa but p.a. has a list of new products that umarex is importing this year on their blog including a bring back rws 24 youth rifle . You might want to hop over to their site and take a look .Marvin

.25 questions.

February 19 2008, 11:57 AM

Dear Diana schooters, in Europe the .25 already exists for a longer time and these calibers are great fun. Not very fast but a lot of kinetic power. I mentioned you measure the most in Fpe ( footpound ) but the most air rifle's are offered in meters/sec. Every country has his own rules, for example in Germany everything is free without registration till 175 m./sec. In our country ( the Netherlands ) we have no bounderies because an air gun / pistol is "a cold gas weapon". We have a registration via man's passports number given to the salesman. Next answer: yes the silencers for the 48,52 en 54 are for sale at www.sportwaffen-schneider.de and they ship worldwide. Best regards from Jan W.

Jan, I hope you understand that not all Americans behave so badly. Thank you so much for your post. You have a wealth of information to share and we really appreciate it. It is not often someone from Europe joins us and we hope you stay on board.

Thank You

Info etc.

February 20 2008, 8:21 AM

That's diversity of people ! I met a lot of Americans during my visit to your country and met a lot of VERY friendly and helpfull people. If I can help you don't hesitate to ask me, I suppose it's difficult to deal with the import Umarex ? I like it to help you, strange that the 200% Diana enthousiasts live in the USA, best regards from Jan W.

I truly meant no offense by my comments ...sadly in America pay the tax and let them do a thorough "back"ground search . Thats the way it is as of now, things can always change five minutes from now though.
