Simple little underlever solution (apologies for having been a way for a bit)February 16 2008 at 8:15 AM | Harvey (no login) from IP address 64.83.206.44 |
| I read that some folks are getting the underlever "drop" on their shots. You can turn the screw at the front of the ball (opposite end) in a little but if you shoot enough it tends to back back out again.
A real simple solution is to turn that screw all the way in until the ball detent unit is free and put plumbers tape on the threads. More than a couple revolutions as you want the screw to turn back in tightly. Once you screw it in (backwards) you ought to have enough on the threads that it won't turn itself loose again. Simple, easy and quick.
