At 25 yards, I got off a group a little over 1/2 ctc once I got the scope zeroed. At 50 yards, it started to open up to over 1" but IMO, once I get the trigger lightened up, it will be fine. Pull is a bit heavier than I'd like.
Noise is not as loud as I expected. About like a Sheridan with 10 pumps and a bit of ping so I think an HDD is in order. I was getting 825 - 830 with Diana domes in the heart of the power curve. Didn't shoot a whole string as that has been done by others and I wanted to get the rifle sighted in so I can do some target shooting and experiments in accuracy first. I might re-crown the barrel and work the trigger and retry once the weather settles in. More snow predicted for tomorrow - yippe.
25 yards with Diana domes. Other shots were from sight-in at that range
50 yards and opening up. I'd still have meat in the pot!
Scoped Discovery - I like the lines of this rifle
"but I'll be needin' that gun, fer squirrels and such."
