Why not own both? Good price on that 350, used ones are nearly that much if it's a .22. Didn't like my 350 as well as my 48 until I put a few thousand rounds through it. Now that it is as equally shot in as my 48, I find it to be an equal to, if not better gun for field use. Longer range, and hits harder, with minimal loss of accuracy over the fixed barrel. Both are great guns.

wow!

February 16 2008, 8:42 PM

$269 for a new 350? Maybe it's just the floor model or 1 particular gun? Do they have it in .22 cal? Do you know if they will ship it? What's the phone# or web site Joe? I think I know someone who is interested, thanks.

I'm really loving my 350 with over 2,000 shots now. Glad to hear from a 48 & 350 owner. The 350 gets a bad rep because they take longer to break in and people are not patient or don't get them tuned. Some even decide to sell them before they can discover what a great gun it is.

Harry my 48 is my favorite go to gun but for $269.00 I would go for the 350 in .22 cal.

Hey Joe Allen Park Store

February 17 2008, 4:45 AM

Joe,
I was at the same store friday afternoon @ 2.20pm.I bought the Beeman RS-2 Combo in .22 for $143.09 out the door.I don't know why it was that price it was marked $149.99 and I didn't ask any questions about the price.
But I have to admit I was a little upset when I got her home and opened the box.Close expection,,,beautiful gun everything was alright,no marks, beautiful dark brown/redish wood, bluing perfect, scope and all hardware was there,,,,,then it happened "MADE IN CHINA" I'm thinking SHI*$#T ,here I thought it was a mis-marked price and a good European Beeman.
I am still trying to decide if I want to keep it or not.I shot it one time to make sure it was OK.No dieseling, very smooth right out of the box and a smooth trigger that could be made to a fine light trigger with stone and moly.I haven't touched it since friday, did'nt mount nothing to it,I'm still laughing at myself for being so stupid for not remembering what I have read about the differences in the Beeman R series..... RX and R the good ones made in Europe RS is the Chinese copy. Its now sunday morning and I'm thinking I'll keep it at least for awhile,I have to at least give it a China-mans chance and see what it can do.
Joe you must be real close to me if you go to Sp-Ware-H store in Allen Park.I live around Van Born & Merriman in Wayne.

Hi Bob, its a chinese copy of a spanish norica...

February 17 2008, 6:44 AM

I think RWS is selling the norica's as hammereli's. list price without a scope is about what you paid. I'm in flat rock.

for the Beeman"s the letter "R" stands for made in England, the "S" is China and "H" is Spain.

I found out after buying the GH 950 it was made in Spain by Norica and of course I returned it really fast

Warren, where did you get that info about the letter documentation? I want to see proof that what you wrote is right. Post some links showing what you wrote is right.

I do not remember what web site it was but it was months ago that I started researching the beeman and came up with this info

BB pelletier posted the one about "S" being chinese and the Norica site had the "H" info, so the "R" has to be England

maybe others can shed some more light on this

IIRC all the r series guns are german origin. Looks like they dropped all spanish and chinese "Gold Series"! and going back to a high quality Line Up
