That date sounds right

Older guns used to say made in West Germany.

Are you planning to go thru all those pellets there on the bench? That looks like you have a serious day of shooting planned.

And be careful when you get on that lawn tractor. Look before you sit.

Beautiful rifle Tim!

I had a 24 and a 20 at one time. Loved them both. Now I have a 631 and HW55 to take their places. And a Fast Deer which I just performed a schnockered faux rebuild on for the heck of it.

Despite that heavy trigger and all its ignominious flaws this is still one fun little 35 dollar sidelever shooter.

Harry,Brown Boxes&Crows!

February 18 2008, 4:46 PM

Hey Harry Thanks! Yea. "Princess Sue" is in nearly new cond.,,few bumps & dings, but thats wat they call "character"!LOL!! Brown boxes are on bottom of shelves to left in pic.. When they are right,,,,MAN they are great!! My 54 LOOOOVES them! I just climed out of a fireant pile,,Im not gona touch this one!LOL.Just for you Harry,,After the rain quit today, I went to play in the woods w/ my 24. Thinking about you & how cool it would be to take a crow w/it,,a crow landed in a tree top not 20 yrds away!(70 ft.up). The wind had started after the passing of the cold front,,he was swaying in the top of that pine alittle, I took carfull aim,(no time to find a tree to rest on) THWACK!! I hit him!! He managed to fly off (barely!) he made it across the street & landed in the top of a big pine tree. In no more than 5 seconds he fell to the ground! As I watched his lifeless body lay there for more than 5 minutes,I contemplated collecting my "trophy". Dillusions of grandor filled my head,, how cool this was going to be,,pics. of my new(old) Diana 24 inc.my "trophy" crow, the lid from the JSB pels. that got him,,just the pure glory of it all!!!! Well, I really wanted to collect my "trophy" crow BUT,When the guys on the Golf course slowed down their cart to look at Mr Crow,, I figured I better get back home!! TRUE STORY Harry! The "Princess" Strikes!! I got him Harry!!!! Tim.
