Did you notice anything peculiar in the “Tims new Diana Mistress Moves In!!!!” post of his beautiful set-up, range and rifle, with an assortment of about 30 tins of pellets?
CT: Crosman Premiers are the most popular pellets in the world and even widely used in match competition. I don't understand the point you are trying to make. If you don't want to use them, fine it's up to you. Just because Tim or one person is not using them it doesn't mean anything. CP's used to be great. Lately Crosman has screwed up their QC and many .22 boxes are tainted with smaller caliber (.20) ones. I have about 30 "bad" ones per box but I try to sort them out and dispose of them. The "good" ones shoot very well and are extremely accurate. JSB Exacts (Express & Jumbo) are almost as accurate.
Diana 350 Mag .22
Hammerli 850 .22
A few Crosman CO2 & Pump .177
but they will come back, Josh at the yellow forum started to collect info about the DIE's that are bad with crosman, go and read the posts about this issue
Crosman pellets will be back, trust me
warren
PS: are you OK now
and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter"
Ctruth,, Thanks for calling my "redneck" range beutifull or whatever you referd to it as! Its my HOME!! I LOVE to shoot! The pic. did not show just as many tins on other side of rest. Brown box prem.,s shoot better than any by FAR in my Diana 54. Im just getin out of a red ant pile here (offending M.Z.) Brown box CP,S are GREAT,, my guns like them better than JSB.s! Im lookin at "box" now,,625# domes 14.3 GR.,,,,,,Dec 02/06,,DIE #7,,, Most were good ,but several were Little dwarfs (20cal)?? If you look closely,,you will see tape on Crow Mag tin labeled Cros. Prem. (hunting only)LOL. (hand picked brown boxers). For what my 2 cents is worth,,Ive never met a decent powered springer that would not "dine" on Beeman Kodiaks!! (177 or 22) Just my 2 cents! Boy Ive layed down in another fireant pile!!!! Tim.
I apologized to Harry and promised never to “rag” him again about cp’s. When I called PA to replace my bad box, Sharon assured me that Crosman had experienced a bad week or so of production, but generally were excellent and extremely popular pellets.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’ve been trying to drain every bit of info I can get from Harry’s great wealth of experience and know how. I guess I got miffed once with his “passion” for cp’s and my disappointment when I got a bad box.
And I meant what I said..your place is very serene and beautiful. I haven’t seen tree moss like that since I left Parris Island.
But when I croak, I don’t want my ashes sent there if you’ve got red ants or sand fleas.I HATE those suckers!
