What a bunch of retards!!
After a week of many calls (and a dozen pictures!) and speaking to the supervisor at P/A, they agreed to send to me 2 new boxes of Crosman Premier domed since the last 2 boxes were full of Pointed pellets instead of domed.

I made a trip to Fedex and send the old ones back - shipping paid by P/A. This was last Thursday. They wait until they get mine in before they ship theirs on Monday. Fine. Today Wednesday I get the new pellets in, well guess what? They are .20 5mm CP's!! There is even an invoice inside (for $0.00) that says .22cal CP's!! What is wrong with these people? Did they go out hire the cheapest possible people they can find with the lowest IQ? If you can't even get a tiny little order like this straight, imagine what these people do with larger orders and shipping rifles out (well we know what they do with those having seen damaged Dianas banging into the cheap Plano case inside plastic), etc. I have only placed 4 orders with PA and have had a problem with all 4.

They are by far the worse vendor I have dealt with in on the Internet and I do all my shopping on the Internet. I have been since the late '90's so I have done business with hundreds of vendors. P/A is average at best. No wonder they have to give out a free tin of pellets to get people to shop at their site.

Pyramyd air would be my last choice when buying.

February 20 2008, 7:21 AM

Well, I've had a few phone conversations with them about pellets, things other than airguns (as I'm in Illinois I have to source from vendors who will ship here), and it is dismal. Voicemails never returned, two canceled orders (by me), after being told 'in stock, shipping today' and a week later nothing. No notice of the delay either.

What sealed the deal was I was going to buy an rws cmount and found a glaring error on their website, emailed them with the details, even called customer 'service' and asked to talk to the person doing the website, transferred of course to voicemail. Guess what? error fixed, but I never received a 5% discount for spotting an error.

Too many other competitors that sell without the BS and such to deal with a place like them.

Yes, I've bought from straight shooters, compasseco and airgun depot so I have had a few other purchases here and there to compare to.

JMHO.

I had ordered a Beeman P 1 yesterday. I narrowed my vendors down to Pyramid and Airguns Of Arizona. After reading this I am glad I paid $5.00 more and ordered from Airguns Of Arizona. According to UPS it has shipped and should arrive Friday. I purchased my RWS 52 from Natchez Shooters Supply and was very pleased with the transaction and the price of $329.00

P A is dropping to many balls, not only in this forum but others they are getting a BIG Black eye in customer support and sales

$5.00 or $10.00 more for the satisfaction of receiving exactly what you ordered goes a looong way compared to the savings and poor service from PA

Thanks, I forgot to mention that I have placed numerous orders with Compasseco (bought my 350 from them too), MidSouthShooters (MSS) and 2 orders from StraightShooters. They all shiped the SAME day and never had any issues.

P/A always ships 3-4 days later at best. During the Holidays I placed an order early with P/A (or so I though), 15 days before Christmas w/ground shipping. Well they did not ship my order until after Christmas on the 28th, 18days later. Got my order the following year on 1/2, 23 days later. When I placed the order on 12/10 everything was in stock. I had called them numerous times throughout those 18days and kept getting the same response: "sorry it's the Holidays and we must take care of the Next-Day and 2nd-day order first"(!!) So screw the Ground Shipping people that ordered way in advance several weeks before. Invoices should be processed in the order they were received.

Now they have this $5 additional charge for expedited service/next day processing which is bull crap. Just another way for PA to make more $. I know some people opt for that but I would never do it. It's like they 're saying if you want to feel special and get better treatment give us and extra 5 bucks. The rest of you with ground-shipping will have to wait or go screw yourselves. What audacity..

Re: PA

February 22 2008, 5:35 AM

I have to say my last order with Pa got all screwed up I called them like 5 times, they owed me a refund as a RWS part was out of stock and they say they are out of stock but you know they can never put more parts back in stock. Anyway they tried to pass the buck everytime I called like oh the accountant is not to work yet, and then even better yet they told me ounce that I owed them money for the order. Basically I checked and yeah they give the 4th tin of pellets free, well I checked with champion shooters supply which is where I buy all of my smallbore stuff from and you can buy like RWS match pellets for less than PA is selling them for so it averages out like you are getting them for the 4 tin speacial and not having to buy the 4 tins. Ah is like alot of business is going down the tubes well they can all stay home where they want to be or talk to their friends then I guess if this all keeps up. In fact I had thought I was maybe talking with a Valley Girl at one point there, is that bad.

You guys could be right

February 22 2008, 9:05 AM

Some of you might recall I've been posting about a front sight for my 75. Well, I saw a post here that said Pyramid had one for the 75-100, so I pulled up their site and found it @ $65. Oh, happy day!!! Called and talked to a young lady who said they had a complete full sight and another base part. Ok, that's great. Now, does the full sight have this other piece or will I need both? She said a tech would have to check and transferred me. Talked to the tech who said Pyramid got a lot of RWS parts when they took inventory from another dealer and would have to check the bins and call me back. Well, I missed his call, so I brought the bookmarked site back up to get the phone number and noticed the sight was now labelled "out of stock". Talked to a different tech to double check. He went off, came backin a few minutes and said they didn't have them. Who knows?

On the pellets, I would expect Pyramid, after such a glaring order correction, to send the proper pellets and tell you to keep the .20's. Why should you pay to ship those back?

I don't pay to ship anything back. Pyramyd always pays for return shipping on something bad related with an order. I wish I had a .20cal gun but I don't. I may keep them because they have not sent me an e-mail yet with RMA information. Watch next thing I know, my credit card will be billed for the .20cal CP's! I called and e-mailed the supervisor as well that I did not receive the Fedex RMA packing slip to print out. Nothing yet.. but my new CP's (.22cal I hope) are supposedly on the way and should be arriving today according to the Fedex tracking day. With my luck and this snow storm we are having here in the North East, I won't get them until Monday. You don't know how surprised I would be if they are the correct caliber and pellets I ordered. That is how much I am used to P/A screwing up. If I order from them again, I will go to church and light a candle first before and after the order is placed.

An update to my original reply:
The Beeman P 1 arrived from Airguns Of Arizona as scheduled and as ordered. I give them 2 thumbs up.

Finally closure!

February 22 2008, 12:52 PM

The new boxes arrived today from P/A by Fedex (the 3d batch) and are finally the real thing. CP domed stamped Jan.08 2008. The Pointed ones were 1/9/08. Still no RMA e-mail from P/A so I can ship back those .20cal. If they let me keep them, I 'm getting a .20cal R9 so I can use them This is the excuse I needed! hehehe

If you're going to get an air rifle just to burn those pellets off, may I recommend an HW77 instead...

Trust me, you will not regret it.

and whe you burn those off, get y'self some JSB 20 cal pellets. I doubt you would regret it.

What new rifle Marvin? I don't have any "new" rifles but I may just get a .20cal Beeman. For some reason I always wanted a R9 Goldfinger

Mine were dated Jan 10, 08.

Seems the mistake spanned some time. Somebody at the plant likely got a huge reaming over this-un!

I'm hoping the call I made will rectify my plight!

Good luck to all of us!

Must We ?

February 24 2008, 9:06 PM

Hea Harry, Is there any reason why we have to shop at P.A. ? What do they have that others don't have ? If it's a $20 price difference thats not good enough.I am a cheap skate but I am smart enough to know my man hours and aggrevation are worth something to me. I hate being pissed off like you should be. If there is one thing I can't stand is some careless moron screwing up my whole day because he/she didn't give a sh#@t enough to watch what they were putting in the darn box "right".

No there is no reason

February 24 2008, 10:10 PM

to have to buy from PA . You're right many places sell airgun supplies . Everyone makes the choice to shop where they want.

Before a PA tirade begins again - lets remember for all PA's faults , we can't blame PA for a Crosman packing and QC issue . PA took care of the problem - give them credit when it's due. Lord knows when they make a mistake the big bash hammer falls quickly and forcefully ...

Rick you talk about 3 issues

February 25 2008, 2:03 AM

and I agree with you but in my case:

1st; some of us have to buy from PA, I am one of them. not even Wally world has the .22 cal. in stock in Tampa it turns into a search party trying to find any brand of pellets in .22 in this town. I can't buy pellet's unless they are bought online and PA gives me the best price

2nd; crosman and its QC problems belong to crosman not PA and you are correct in that one. it seems crosman found out FAST about this one, remember in the yellow forum Josh from crosman asked for input about the pellets and he got an earfull of bad pellets examples from a bunch of members

3rd; PA does make mistakes and they try to correct them, I have had to two instances with them and they did produce to do the right thing both times. this does not mean that the 3rd buying experience from PA will be a happy experience for me

separate issues that maybe affect some of you

I don't fully understand why a person "has" to buy from PA?

February 25 2008, 4:25 AM

Crosman has more than one commercial outlet for their pellets. Who has the annual pellet special where you buy X amount and they throw in some for free, Mac-1? I'm sure, if the sell other brands, they carry Crosman.

What, me worry???
