That 350 spring sure is pretty strong after being cocked for who knows how long. I could be it was only cocked since that morning or the day before by a customer or a kid behind the counter that doesn't know any better. Goes to show you how good modern springs are. A Diana springer needs to be cocked for several days to a week before showing signs of weakness/loss of power. They are great springs.
John:
Where in PA do you live? I 'm thinking of driving down from upstate NY so you can help me install a spring in my 350 and lube it up. Do you have a spring compressor? I can bring JM lubes and the Arctic spring which I already have. Do you also do debur/polish? I don't have the right tools. I work on my cars so I mostly have mechanic's tools but I can bring screwdrivers

I 've never been inside a springer so your help would be greatly appreciated. Mainly I want you to walk me through doing most of it, so I 'll be confident and do the next one myself if I can get a spring compressor. Oh did I mention I 'll bring the beer?
Only problem is I may have to drive through Jersey. Airguns are illegal in NJ and carry the same offense as firearms! NJ laws are the worse.
