A couple weeks ago I discovered a one inch x 40mm, 4X Hy-Score Rifle scope! The Shop owner had it in his "Bargan Bin" for a mere $10! The scope had no rings but being Japanese made and really crisp and clear with a very fine diameter crosshair, I gladly dropped a $10 bill on the counter! No date of manufacture stamps on the scope.
Sorry at the moment there's no way for me to put up a picture of this Scope. (The doggone second, out of three of my Cannon Cameras took a dump within one year. No more Cannons for me...)
On the drive home I pondered which rifle was to wear this old trophy and decided to mount it atop my GECO Model 25D with a set of low Mounts. It couldn't have looked more at home on any other rifle I have!
The Glass lenses and ultra thin crosshair combined to make what seems like a needle-like guide to each pellet I now shoot. The nice Japanese Glass lenses gather every possible ray of light and focus crisply over a wide range of distances!
Heck, it seems almost every week or two I discover, read, or hear of different Diana-related objects! I am sure that 'ol Steve Lazlo carefully selected this little Japanese 4X Scope to wear his Company Name and no doubt just to adorn one of his Diana Manufactured Catalog items!
This Hobby never ceases to run out of suprises, eh?
