I don't know that much about the era of whn Marksman had some guns that were made by Weihrauch but it would appear this model is like the HW77 underlever.
Don't worry over it. At that price, it might have had issues.
Want some misery loves company? I saw a scope for sale on another forum and went to ask the seller about it. Was ready to buy. I couldn't log in. Took the administrator until the afternoon to finally give me another password. Checked on that scope all day. As soon as get logged in, no longer there. Either seller pulled it or sold it (more likely). Ain't the internet wonderful?
