Just wondering how others store their guns. Gun room? Gun safe? Gun case? Behind the door? First I started behind the door, but I ran out of doors. Then I kept them in cases, but it just got to be too bulky, took up the whole room. Next it was gun safes (smaller ones, moving the bigger ones will result in injury that'll require surgery to repair, and they are expensive). Any ideas for how to secure a gun room and the best way to store and display them?

you see then and notice them but then I had the problem that the rack would hold 4 guns and I bought the 5th one. WHAT THE HECK and the 6 and 7 followed

so it is another wall mounted gun rack

warren

PS: I live alone, the DOG does not count and neither does my wife (ouch, honey)

and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter"

I use a Browning Gun Safe. I keep all airguns, powder burners, pistols, fly rods and camera gear in it. The safe weighs 600+ pounds and is bolted to the floor and guarded by a couple of mean dogs and a well armed homeowner.

StackOn type are a good, inexpensive option

They won't break your back nor your bank account and provide a decent level of security. Plus, once they are loaded, the weight goes up. Most burglars don't have the time to break into one. They're in a fifteen minute window.

If using a safe, I recommend gun socks or their equivalent. Good for the metal and also cuts down on safe dings.

Used metal cabinet - $20

Holds 20 guns. If you need/want a safe, you can always up your insurance and feel better about it. I'm on my second one (pictured here) but that's just because s#&t happens.

"but I'll be needin' that gun, fer squirrels and such."

Hey Bill, I see in your "safe" pics of a few non Diana,s most noteably a couple of "Benny Sher,s" I dont recognize?? The "Bennys" have a place among the true classics of air guns. Dianas are great, but its also great to see people like you post pics. of some of the guns we had as "little boys". My 397 will be with me FOREVER! Nice pics Bill, Tim.
