What is going on? Is it true that Diana Domes have become Webley Mosquitos and now become Beeman FTS?

Also, where the heck do you all purchase pellets that has a complete selection, good prices and adequate service? Here is the cost of ordering 6 tins of .22 FTS from various suppliers. It takes into account the free tin offered by two companies. This does not include shipping.

SS = 49.75 Excellent selection, good service, easy ordering, highest price even with discount.

AOA = 41.7 Good selection, no service exp, order form locks up my computer

PYR = 36.25 Limited selection, service is suspect, order form will not allow me to change quantities. Keeps bumping everything back to "1", lowest price.

DNR = 40.14 Limited selection, good service, easy order form, middle price.

MAC-1 = 37.50 Website not updated, prices may not be current(WLL prices from 2006, Used list from 2003), selection may be incomplete (Diana domes listed but not Beeman FTS). Order form submitted via e-mail (unsecure), no way to calculate shipping cost so there will be several e-mail transactions just to get the total cost.

Pomona doesn't even list pellet prices. Airgun warehouse is very limited and pricey. Is there another supplier I should use?

I am only looking for RWS Meisters in .22, Beeman FTS .22, Beeman FTS .25, Beeman HN Match .25.

I was looking at Pyramid today

Have been shooting cheapies from the local stores and thought I might see what some JSB's would cost. A tin from Pyramid is about $12.50. The shipping, cheapest five day ground delivery, is almost $8. Do you know how much by weight you can ship for that??? Or have the JSB's gone from lead to spent uranium? It's ridiculous.

Airgun Freak

I resemble that remark...but only occasionally. I used to be an airgun freak. Then I went to longbow. Then I went to .22lr rifles. Now I am mostly a pistol shooter. I am drifting back to airguns again because of the ease of use and cleaning. Ever take apart a Ruger MKIII? Feh!

In todays market, I let my wallet talk

Once I've tested pellets I buy a case. Why buy 1-2 tins? Are you going to give up and sell your gun next week? No.

I buy from various sources. For example, at Pyramid if you buy over $150 shipping is free (plus buy 3 and the 4th is free). That's a 25% discount.

For non-Diana pellets, say JSB, I'll buy at Top Gun. Again, buy a case and the shipping is free. Also deals if you buy a sleeve.

I'm not promoting these two dealers, just stating that you can get a better deal if you buy in large quantities. Sometimes shipping will be discounted too, you just have to ask.

That's my perspective on buying pellets.
