Please Help / model 52 will not cockMarch 3 2008 at 10:22 AM | James (Login jwh2) from IP address 70.57.21.17 |
| I took the stock off of my 52 a few days ago to add loctite to the screws. I just tried to shoot it and it will not cock. The side lever will go all the way back but it does not cock. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help.
Thanks

Hi,
Looks like something has chnged in your trigger adjustments.
Is this the T01 (old triggers, before 2000 or so) or the newer T05?
First, are you positively sure no pin fell from the trigger mechanism?
While the main body is without the stock they can freely move out. I almost lost the two small pins like that...
Second, to which scews did you add Loctite? are they somehow close tho the trigger mechanism?
Third: It can be simply that your trigger adjustmant screws moved a little, and they were very close to their end of travel before. Try playing with them.
please answer, Good luck!! |

It's fixed. I called Umarex and they told me that a small piece of deris of some type was probably keeping ot from cocking. They suggested I work the side lever in a very rapid motion to dislodge whatever it was. Bingo! That took care of it.
Thanks
