Mine is a IZH MP513M .22 with barrel cut down to 12". Factory length
is 18.5", OAL 46.5" and weight 6.94 lbs. I have a Beeman muzzle weight,
one piece mount and Millet SP1 red-dot on the carbine - so it's 40"
OAL, about 7 lbs. "fully dressed".

The carbine has several hundred shots or so through it since purchased
new a few months ago. Last time I chronied it a month or so ago it
shot CPs at 750 fps MV and JSB Exacts at 705. Chronied it this evening
and it clocked CPs at 770 fps MV and JSB Exacts at 730 fps MV. No visual
nor smell of smoke last time nor this time. Definitely a pleasant suprise!
So very close to 19 FPE. Also not far off from the 20ish FPE it produced
before I cut the 6.5" of barrel off.

I remember my first Mac1 "steroided' Benji 392 shot CPs at 770-780 fps
MV on 14 pumps. Lot more work than that single cocking stroke on my IZH
MP513M. My second Mac1 "steroided' old 'dan shot CPs at 800-810 fps MV
and the third another Benji 392 did about the same as the first at
max or 14 pumps.

So 7 lbs., 40" OAL and 19 FPE in .22. You got a lighter, shorter
springer that can top that?

Herb

A stock/factory R1/HW80 .22 tested by SS -

8.8 lbs, OAL 45.2".

CPs = 714 fps MV

JSB Exacts = 696 fps MV

Well that one obviously doesn't win LOL

I simply can't think of another springer lighter and shorter
than my IZH MP513M .22 that delivers as much or more power -
that's including .25s.
