I didnt see the airgun

March 11 2008, 7:44 PM

Sorry, I dont think the Beeman is an R7. I hadnt seen the Beeman for years and never looked at it very close. Dad said it was an R7. I finally looked myself and saw it was a Beeman GS 700 .177 made in Spain. Is this the R7s cheaper cousin? I dont know. It is the first airgun I am going to tear apart though. I am going to start airgunsmithing.I am buying a 350 size spring compresser and like I said This will be my practice airgun. The airgun is in poor shape (neglect). But the reason I am going to do my best to fix it is because I do remember shooting it years before. I put about 20 or 30 shots through her and she was the most accurate airgun I have shot to date. It is a genuine tack driver. I have respect for Beeman because of this gun. Even though it is not even a German Beeman. A real fun shooter. I will pull the trigger out and study it. If I think I cant do anything with it I will send it to you. What do you think Ray ?

Thanks a lot Ray. The seals arrived today. Please pray for me that I don't have to go through what Martin went through, that the 460 comes back ready to go shooting. Feel free to email me but I won't be able to answer till I get a new keyboard. Mine broke. I am writing this from my mother's house. And again, thank you. I will use these somewhere down the line.
