8" barrelled side-lever springer. It launches Silver Bear HPs at
600 fps MV. I've got a Millet SP1 (3 MOA) red-dot on top.

Just stepped out the door to do a little plinkin' and spotted it
about 50' up on a branch of a big silver leafed maple tree. Pellet
hit high center breast with a nice thwack. Dropped like a black
lead bag. Cat was on it quick!

Next shot at the 7/16" quarter inch drive socket I hung off a bent
curtain rod stuck in the ground at the 75' marker. Have it hanging
with thin wire. Smacked it 3 times in a row. Then began to knock
the little tuna cans down and around that I had placed at various
ranges from 75' to 150'. Started to rain before I could place a
big target box at the 125' marker - wanted to shoot a few 5 shot
groups with this "little thumper".

Gettin' about time to break out the 460M again and see how we do

Herb

Bird Dog/Cat

March 13 2008, 7:32 PM

Hey Herb,I once had a kitty that as soon as she heard the first pump fed into my Benny Sher. would imediatly sit by my side and scan the suroundings watching intently for her next meal! Got to the point that even if I was tinkering around w/one of my guns she was by my side! I miss her. Best "bird dog" cat Ive ever had! Ahh, The guns of summer! Tim.

I must be drinking too much. For a minute there, I thought Herb was shooting a China gun!

Archer Airguns QB57

March 15 2008, 4:57 AM

Herb, I was just joking ya. Your rifle sounds like a fun little gun. Is it related to the Archer Airguns QB57? The 57 from the photos and everything I have read about looks like a great little gun to carry into the woods or on a camping trip. Have you ever shot a Baikal Izh 61? That little Russian is one of my most favorite guns to shoot! And so accurate!
Tell us more about your gun please.

the QB-6 or Tech Force 6 is lighter and much shorter since
I cut the barrel down to 8". You can check them out - pic
and specs - at Compasseco.
