Last friday I ordered a .22 48 refurb from Umarex ($225) shipped. Received it wednesday.
It has a small scratch on the stock. Big deal. This is a work horse, work of art, hard hittin, don't wanna put it down airgun. The front sight is a little fat. My name is PJ and I am an airgun addict.

PJ
RWS 34 Panther .22
RWS 350 .22
RWS 48 .22
BJ Blue Streak .20 and matching Pistol .20
Cummins B3 .177 (what crap)

PJ Welcome to the form. Its good to here your addited to the sport . The 48 is ussually a good shooter and I m glad your happy with your purchase . I have a 46 and its a very good rifle. Niether are the magnum type but both have proven themselves to get the job done in the past. Marvin

AH the 48

ordered it by impulse because it is a fixed barrel. I have it with a bipod, Vortex muzzel break, Dampa mount from Sports Match and a Barska 3-12 x 40 scope, she is heavy but reliable

have the 34, 40 and 460 (all in .22 cal.) but the 48 is the one besides the 34 that I shoot the most. pretty finicky with pellet selection but a brute of an airgun

you made a wise selection with the 48 PJ and he will not disappoint you

warren

PS: I did not break in the 48, it still shoots the same way as the first pellet

and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter"
