as all of you know, my 34 develop a crack in the wood stock so I had to call UMAREX for a replacement

guess what?? $84.00 for wood and $94.00 for Panther "plastic" stock, my Lord as much as a Demo gun from them

but Ryan from Umarex told me to buy a refurbished Panther in .22 cal. for $135.00, change stocks and PRESTO, have replacement parts for my other (2) 34's

warren

PS: Tim; you are going to receive a 34 with a little crack in the wood Airmailed to you compliments of "Warren's" graveyard. LOL

and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter"

Repairing cracks

March 17 2008, 12:38 PM

There's a lot of reference material in many gun books on repairing stocks. Even split wrists can be fixed so that they are presentable. If you don't like the result because the crack is visible, you could paint the stock. Not much different then from a plastic one.

Why doesn't Umarex just sell two guns to everyone?

UMAREX has sold me 1 gun but I have paid 3 times for the same one in replacements. It is just that I love my 34 and will not let go

warren

PS: and then again I might pay another time to UMAREX, call it 4 times for the same gun LOL

and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter"

Our Dutch friend Johannis sells guns??

I assume we are talking original Diana parts that we can't get from Umarex? That's good to know! Thanks Tim. I tell you, you can't ask for a better forum than this when people are willing to go out of their way to help a fellow Dianawerk member.

Diana 350 Mag .22
Hammerli 850 .22
A few Crosman CO2 & Pump .177
