The dearth of custom stocks!

The lack of availability of custom stocks for springers
is a sad testament of our times, the one salvation has for
the time being suspended his operation.

How many airgunners are there that yearn for a custom stock
for his/her favorite rifle.

I researched the web for gunstock makers there are literally hundreds of companies that cater to the powders burners of every discipline. There are just a few for airguns, and these
are custom makers that are so inundated with work that they are
years behind and are not taking any orders.

Granted not everyone wants a different stock for his/her favorite pet rifle. but then there are others that do and that have the means to do their own work, or at least finish an inlet
as a do it yourself project.

We need an enterprising company with a duplicator willing to cut a piece of wood with rough outline as Richards microfit
provides I send in my stock they duplicate the bed and I shape
the exterior to my heart's content.

Is that too much to ask for?

sylvan,I know how you feel. R.B. & afew others offer really nice pistol grips & carbine stocks at VERY reasonable prices. The stocks we want are not made by them. Check my other site, Kirby I think? posted a link to an awsome thumb hole stock that he finished his self. It is AWSOME! Give me about 10 months,,I will be selling custom stocks/grips. (4 mo. to finish house/garage,6 mo. to tool up). Tim.

Hang tight Tim!

Don't be embarrassed! Few in the general population would recognize and understand the term. More's the pity.
I would have not been surprised to see it coming from Harvey, but from anyone else I was----and the very reason I punched up the thread. My apologies to Sylvan who I already knew wasn't representative of the average airgunner popping up on the 'net these days. Mea Culpa Sylvan! My apologies Sirrah! My sole refuge is that I m so overwhelmed in the current era to discover anyone on an airgun board who is actually competent in the use of the mother tongue. (pls. insert embarrassed visage at this juncture) Tom

Tim,
No problem you don't need to feel embarassed I don't for you.
Remember where your weak in something your strong somewhere else.

You have given me hope that you might be the Salvation
I am hoping for a stock duplicator to make gun stocks for springers. Get your stuff done, then when you have time
pursue our needs.

Hi Warren, thanks for the help.

Hi Tom, I still need to send you turkey pictures, been putting lots of time at work and just feeling lazy.

Just picked up a 50TO1 so gonna go shoot it.

Ya'll Have a nice day ya hear!
