Hey Guys Tim here. Well, the day I have been waiting so long for has finally arrived. I got my "paws' on a tuned 350M! After about an hour of shooting it, I must say,Im in love! I already have formed a close bond w/ this gun. I can only describe it as shooting my beloved little 24, only this one is on "steroids"! I have owned many springers in the last 3 years, I am especially fond of 2of them,, my 54/22 cal. & my 24/177 cal. (both Dianas!). Those of you that have experienced "love at first sight" pertaining to a particular airgun know what I talking about. This gun fits me well,& it seems to love me eqally as well! With open sights I was exploding pine cones out to 25 yrds.!! John in PA, thank you so much, Im so happy you are pleased w/the 460. If you can tame it the way you did this 350, you my friend will certainly have the "Golden Gun"! When I opened the box & saw the awesome scope& extra spring you sent I was floored! Thank you John. Harry, now I understand why you love your 350 so much. Just wait untill you get yours back from Curtis,If you loved it before,Man you are in for a special treat! Curtis will deliver you a true master piece. I have all the respect in the world for him, he is a true expert when it comes to airguns. You are very lucky my friend. Now I must go see if my baby is ok,, she is napping on my bed!LOL! Tim.

PS: the secret is that the 460 has parts from Tim and warren, John is the owner now but the "Golden Gun" is scoped by the help of ?? ask him LOL

and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter"

Tim,treat her well !

That is one of the nicest fireing magnum I,ve ever done.It use to make me think it was a 22cal the way it slammed the silhouettes at fifty yards. What are you shooting from her,FTS at 1045 or Kodiaks at 899fps?She seems to love them both but the Kodiaks hold better at longer ranges.I,m glad your happy!
Also a special thanks to Warren for giving me the Beeman mount that I have on your 460.He,s a he!! of a guy and a true air gunner!

Finally!! :)

Congrats Tim (and John of PA)! Enjoy your guns and shoot them as much as you can.

Tim I hope your wife doesn't get jealous of your new girlfriend now that you are sleeping with the 350 and not her I want to see a pic of a crow next taken on open sights waaayy out there

My 350 is in the hands of UPS and on its way to Curtis with a JM Arctic spring on its side. I miss it already! I don't know if I can sleep tonight or until I have it back in my hands. I have a new Legend 5-15x40 scope waiting here patiently

So what was done to this finely tuned 350 Tim/John? Do you have a spare OEM spring for it? I 'm asking in case the results are not too favorable with the JM spring and the OEM spring is fubar (cause velocity has been dropping very week) in which case I might need that spring! hehehe

BTW, someone on the GTA forum just dropped in a .22cal barrel on his .177 350. He said it was a simple bolt-on and only took him 20min. Just an FYI Tim

Hey Harry

April 4 2008, 4:08 PM

Yep Bud I saw that post about the quick brl. swap! Dont know how much the brl. costs? Is the transfer port the same size,or do you need to enlarge for 22 conversion? CROWS?? Yeah I know season is closed here as well as many other states. However, I have found a little loophole in the law. It seems the law here states that if they are "threatining your crops" you may take them out!! (S.C.) Man as an ex Cop I know that leaves alot of iterpitation into the proverbial "Gray Area"! Could that mean my new grass seed? Could it mean my "crop" of Hawks nesting on my property? Could it be that I pecieve them as a threat "of great bodily harm" to my garden because they seem to mingle there?? You Betcha! Im going to the "Gray" side! Tim.

My New 350

April 4 2008, 4:37 PM

Forgot. Harry, no the wife is not mad about my new Mistress,we were in such a fight over the "puter" last night she did notice my new girl! John in PA,I will mail you tonight, but, Harry just asked what I was gonna ask you. What the heck did you do to make this 350 so dam well behaved?? Harry, You are so lucky that Curtis is taking the time to tune your gun, He does not apply his genious to guns anymore to general public. You must be a special friend. I now understand why tuners like him & M.Z. dont take the mainstream route. Lucky for guys like me there are many mainstream tuners out there willing to tune our guns for a price. On another note,I must say, my new 350 is one sweet shooter. It was tuned by John in PA. I have 2 other friends that have dealt w/him. We cant all be close friends w/great tuners that have a special gift they only share w/close friends. I must say I give John in PA my highest recomendation for those that want to enjoy the benifits of a tuned gun,w/ a timely turn around, at a VERY reasonable price. You will not be dissapointed. Tim.

you do not have to push me Tim!!

April 4 2008, 5:10 PM

John in PA is NOT a master tuner, a pro tuner an EXPERT tuner by others opinion but by my only little self opinion, he is a man of his words and will give 100% in his tunes

I don't need big name tuners to charge me $200 or $600 for a tune on a gun that is worth $190 or $500

buy what you want, tune what you buy at your discretion but look for a friend like John in PA that will not BS you in the tune and price

warren

PS: just imho, you do what you want

and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter"
