How does one remove the rear iron sight with out destroying
the screws??I have taped/beat them with a jewlers philip head to try to break them loose.I have applyed lacquer thinner and repeated taping them with something in the philip hole thinking there might be some red lock-tite holding them in.I can get a good bite in the head but they will not unscrew/break loose ??
There has to be a way to remove them so I can mount a scope rail in its place.Has anyone at Dianawerks experenced these screws and how did you get them out??I am beginning to think they are fake screws and really rivits.

They Got me puzzled?????

They sweat those screws in so they won't back out.
Heat must be applied to remove them but I am not sure how much.
Never tried it myself.

I had the same problem even used a screw out which is kind of a tap with reverse thread. It grabed but it snaped trying to get it out so I gave that up, and decided to make a rail out of 16awg sheet metal then tig welded it (very fustrated) on leaving the rear sight on and yea it worked now I have a red dot on it and man Im at least 50% more on target.
