Just a word of advice. When taking pics for forums, set your camera's resolution to "Low Res", 640x480 resolution. That way the pics are not that huge and we don't have to pan over to see them. With low res, they 'll come out perfect and fit right into the screen and you will also be able to store a lot more of them. They are also smaller in size (bytes) and will upload/download faster.

There is a much better solution Tim. Since you never know when you will get that perfect shot you should always use your camera's highest resolution. If you shoot at 640 x 480 you limit yourself if you get a "perfect" photo. I have seen too many post on the photography newsgroups I belong to wanting to know how to print their small file as an 8 x 10 or larger. It ain't gonna happen. There are many programs (one probably came with camera)that will let you resize your photos for e-mail and web viewing. Just a photographers opinion. Photography is like anything else. If you learn to do it right to start with you don't handicap youself down the road.
PS Harry:
This was not posted just to be contradictory. But using low resolution is a really bad habit to get into. I am not trying to step on any toes here and I hope you understand that.
Thanks James for the info. Mostly "French" to me!LOL! Harry is a good Friend of mine & I doubt he will take any offense of your honest effort to help me. Im just sooooo happy I can post pics. on my own now! I will get it figured out. Kimmie Sue is so amazed when I show her my latest posts/pics.! Who knows, a few months from now Red Feather may meet his match!Ha Ha Ha! Tim.
