I figured out how to get the screws out of the rear sight and mount a scope rail.I ordered a NcStar 2-7X32mm Pistol scope in silver because I wanted to break up the all black look and plan to ad some white pearlite grips.
What a difference in my target shooting with a pistol.
I CAN SEE THE TARGET NOW LOL!
While I had it apart I gave it a lube tune and a trigger job.
Holy-Cow what a nice trigger.I thought it was good before, but after a little work polishing and adding moly to it,its super easy and smooth as a babys butt.
I ended up drilling out the screws holding the rear sight to the weapon, retapped to 6/32 and mounted scope rail.I don't plan to sell so I was not worried about my method of mounting the scope. If my eyes were a little better I would have left it alone, but it is mine and in order to shoot past 50 feet I need a scope.
The double scope rings have to go I can not keep them in place do to the recoil,I e-mailed Optic's Planet yesterday and asked if they sell a silver 1 piece scope mount it is a must for this powerful pistol.
Now Dave turn the page here because I do not want to rekindle your fire for a RWS P5 Magnum. LOL
Heres another problem that came up in the process,it will not fit in the box anymore!Looks like its time to make a custom wooden carring case. But that will have to wait until bad weather I have been outside having a blast shooting after being couped up in the house for 4-5 monthe here in Michigan.

Enjoy your summer! its to short here.

PS: The Disco is under-going some major changes from box stock to full custom,MountianAir Power Adjuster and LDC are on the way.The stock has been refinished in clear high gloss urathane,I had the world Famous pin stripper "Paul Hatton" add his special touch to it in gold pin stripping.
Paul and I go back 40 years to the drag racing days. You may remember Hatton and Stanvanski funny cars of the 60's and 70's as well as Gap & Roush.I used to play with those guys with my 1969 "Boss429" Hemi powered Ford Mustang back in the day at the drag strips .Geez Lucky to be alive!

Way to go Bob!

Didn't want to rekindle the urge huh, Bob? Great job on the gun! I do not think I ever heard of anyone able to scope it. I'll have one of those guns some day, and send it to you to scope it for me. Nice day today, 85 degrees and sunny as hell. Too bad I had to work all day, otherwise I would have given the 850. mag. a good workout. Thanks for the info and pics!

Correction is needed on post above

The scope rail is for a RWS Diana 6G pistol.I bought at the Things that Shoot Show in Findlay, Ohio on April 5th.I do not where else to buy one. Sorry.
But I was told any Diana break barrel pistol will fit as the rear sights are all the same and mounting holes are in the same place with same spacing..
