I have a Diana 46 in .177 and one of the 2 o-rings in the loading port is torn.
I tried Umarex but got no answer and would like to buy today. Hope some one knows the size or can send me in the right direction. Also I know there are lots of different materials used in seals. What is the best for these o-rings?
Hope some one can help.
If anyone is looking for this o-ring size in the future here is what I came up with.
First I got an email back from Umarex and they wanted $2.75 ea plus shipping and handling for an o-ring. They could only give me the stock number as they didn't know the size. Well I don't know what the shipping and handling would be but even Crosman charges $4.00 for shipping & handling. So $6.75 for a o-ring was a little high. Went to Lowe's and got a pack of 10 o-rings for $1.07 for all. The size was 3/8" O.D. X 1/4" I.D. X 1/16". They fit perfict.
Well I got out a 5X glass and checked the seal holes. And they are FLAT, there not o-rings and there not cylindracal, I also got an email from Glenn at Umarex and he stated that they are flat.
I was going by what was in the rifle already and they were O-rings. I bought the rifle from a very well known tuner that every one on this site would know. He must have replaced them with o-rings and I thought that was correct.
The rifle will drive tacks at 25 yds so they work ok. But next time I will check the flat washer section at the local Home Depot or Lowes.
A square cut o-ring with a 3/8" OD, 1/4" ID, 1/16" thick is a standard sized part. It is called a 010 size square cut ring. You can verify at McMaster Carr, part# 4061T115.
