Hello, I've a feeling these are basic questions but my searches aren't yielding the info. Is a barrel spacer just a sort of shim? Is it used to lift or just to help stabilize the barrel? If to lift, would you then need higher bands? I ask these because I really like the muzzelbrake you attached, versus a full shroud. But I didn't know how to fit one, short of using a riser breach. Also the LDC looks a bit shaped to fit, is that all you would have to do instead of raising the barrel? If it is shaped, how did you do that?
Lots of questions at once, I know. But thanks for any information. I've not bought one of these because of the sound. And I really shouldn't be spending money on a MountainAir custom, but man they sure are calling me.

Hope these questions don't upset for being in this forum.

The 2260 barrel spacer is just that, but it does stabilize the barrel and removes harmonics. It does not raise the barrel it just fills the gap between the barrel and air tube.If you look at a stock Disco you can see this gap, with barrel band just forward of the fore stock.
This spacer allows one to stabilize the barrel further forward as you move the barrel band in front of the spacer this is need because the front sight was used to tie the two together at the muzzle. As for the mountain Air muzzle break,I can still attach the hose from the pump there is just enough room to make a good connection. But I will have to add a connector hose to the dual fuel adapter on the female end(That connects to the nipple of the rifle). The big regulator block is in the way. That can be purchased from Crosman .I had to use a 1"drum sander on the original nipple cover for it to clear the break and be replaced on the rifle..
I hope this answers your questions.I know what you mean about hard to find the needed info on the forum

I think you will love a Discovery Rifle.
Mine is a tack driver and power
up the Yha-Yha to boot.I did nothing to the crown
it came very nice.
