I just pulled my M75 out of my gun room with the intentions to return to air rifle competition. I am normally a pistol shooter, but have dabbled in some rifle events over the years. I have a few issues I want to bring up and would like some help with these.
#1 - Is there a competent M75 gunsmith on the east coast who can service my air rifle? It will need new seals and probably a "tune up."
#2 - Is there (or are there) any web resource(s) for the Diana 75 that contain a lot of information about this gun?
#3 - Are there any M75 currently for sale anywhere?
#4 - Does anyone know who runs NRA ISU airgun matches in the Northeast? Looking for both air rifle and air pistol.

If it shoots around 600fps (+/- 30 fps), the seals are fine. otherwise, UMAREX can rebuild.
Or Southern California, Randy Bimrose , Colorado, Neal Johnson Gunsmithing.

No single site, just scattered stuff. Here's what I've found:
I appreciate your response. The information is helpful.
My M75 does not discharge pellets. It appears that I am dry-firing the rifle everytime I attempt to shoot it. Obviously, I am not shooting it until it gets looked at.
I called and e-mailed Randy Bimrose, but he has not gotten back to me yet. Figured someone on the east coast might be a little more convenient anyway.
I would consider another M75 as a backup as long as the prices have not got out of sight. If I remember correctly, I paid $375 for mine back in 1985.
Is there a more modern "equivalent" of the M75 available? I am not sure what people are shooting today for 10m competition. I have been away from the air rifle scene for many years.
The 75 was kind of the pinnacle of the mass produced recoiless springer art. The trend after that was single stroke pneumatics, followed by pre-chrged pneumatics.
If you are mechanical, it is possible to re-build these on a DIY basis. I did mine. Not for the faint of heart, but definitely a satisfying project once you get it back together and she's shooting.
You can buy used ones in 90+% shape for around $400.
I might be persuaded to put new seals in yours. Its a time-eater, but I do enjoy these guns. I'd want you to strip it prior sending (sights, stock, etc.), send just the action barrel, and pack it super well. E-mail (stepar@gmail.com) if you choose to go that route.
Hi James, Tim here. Yes true tuners are hard to find these days. Hang tight. I know of one that is pretty close to you, he is among THE BEST!! While I am not personal friends with him,, I know someone from this forum that is. I will E-Mail my Friend to see if he can help you. (Would be closest to you & done RIGHT) I also know of 2 others that I would highly recomend,, one in my state of S.C. & one "out west". I wish you the best getting your gun repaired/tuned. Watch this thread,, I think you will get some help. Tim.
Thanks, Tim, that information would be very helpful. There was an offer in the psot above yours to repair the 75 as well. Thius is a great forum for getting answers to questions and additional help when needed. Everything is greatly appreciated.
I am just wondering if there may be another problem that would prevent the pellet from discharging. The seals seem to be the obvious culprit, especially after not using the gun for many years. Just wondering...
Are replacement seals readily available? Did you encounter any other problems while replacing yours? I'm looking to see what is involved in this job. Thanks for offering to do them. I may take you up on your offer.
