I finished my pellet trap today. the pellet impact plate is about 9/16 pure lead about 11 inches square. If your looking for a good/silent way to stop pellets this is it, if you don't have access to any space putty stuff. the pellets don't bounce and flatten up to about an eight of an inche thick in a perfect little mushroom also no lead dust as with angled metal traps. weighs about 30 pounds all in all but the box is 3/4 plywood that was left over from building my reloading bench.
