I am having problems with forward lunge or jolt from my 460 Robbet conversion from Germany West. Sorry my English is not so good.
I am getting top velocity at 3 meters but every once in awhile my cocking lever will unleash in the midst of firing. Before the conversion it did the same thing at about the same intervals. I have checked the breech plug and piston ring but they appear fine. Heinz Werner told me that at the velocities I am shooting that back pressure could be the cause from super heavy pellets. They are near 30 grains.
The cocking lever was adjusted during the conversion and a special detente from machine shop was made and for now as corrected it.
But after the correction I get forward jolting or lounging.
Can anyone help? It is a number 2 bore with maybe 12000 rounds on it-shots.
