Today I left all the latest fastest most powerful and most accurate air rifles I have in the house,I didn't look at the FWB300S,nor the .22 Disco,or the RWS 48 in .22,,.. Instead I broke out my old 1969 Hot Rodded .20 Sheridan and a 1965 Daisy Model 25.Then threw tin cans all over the yard some with water some not.Hung a couple of wiffle balls off a tree and started shooting.
Man !! I have to tell you it was the most fun I have had in along time shooting air guns..
I still love the old Daisy with its simple cock and shoot action,but for power the Sheridan C9 with 14.3gr Sheridan Cylindrical's and 10 pumps its still a power house.It would blow a nice hole right thru both sides of a steel Pet Milk can full of water.
To be honest I really wanted to jump on an old Schwinn bicycle and head down to the old swamp and do some froggin,but it was plowed under 20 years ago to build a new subdivision.Bah Humbug!
Anyway if ya haven't done this for awhile try it! I'm tellin ya it will bring back some fond memory's of a time gone by long ago.I'm 59 but for a couple of hours I was 14 all over again. Te He he It felt good too!

Im right behind Ya @ 49,,, my "BB Guns" just seem to make me feel like Im 14 again as wel!!! Man I always seem to catch myself thinking: Man If I had these "BB Guns" when I WAS 14??? Well,, I guess its for the better,, would really stink if there were no small game left in S.C. for me to hunt now!!LOL!! Tim.
One of my favorite go to guns is a Crossman 101 in 22 cal.I couldnt tell you how many pigeons or squirrels it has taken, but if put on trial it would be hung for war crimes!Ha,Ha!
Yeah its fun to pick up a oldie but goodie,and know it still gets it!
