not bad but the rear sight is broken. the piece of metal that holds the sight blade is cracked in half. it fell out of the box when i opened it up. the outer box was fine but the inner box was loose in the outer box. the inner box had a couple of holes warn in it one of which coinsides with where the rear sight sits in the box.
i emailed pyramid air and asked that a new sight be sent to me by fed x. the rifle took two weeks to get here and i am not a happy camper.
of course i have a 30 day return privelege but would rather work it out with them.
i think i will call them tomorrow and suggest that i will order and pay for a beeman aperature peep sight and they can mail me a new rear sight with that order. that should make everyone happy. if they can't do that i will send the rifle back and that will be the end of our business relationship. i want the original sight because i will sight ht rifle in initially with that. i also want it in case i decide to sell the rifle later.
i will let you know james. depends on what pyramid is willing or able to do. most likely they won't have the sight unless they take it off another rifle. then they wilol have to order, yada yada. if thats the case i may take you up on it.
spoke to pyramid air. they have a replacemnt rear sight and are sending it to me. i also bought the beeman sight and they are shipping together and of course i don't have to pay for shipping. i bought the peep sight from pyramid because if it does not work i have 30 days to send it back. they were pretty helpful. i did admonish them about proper packing. of course that falls on deaf ears since the sales rep and tech staff don't pack the stuff for shipping.
