Been trying to find any info on a very early, possibly first model, Diana rifle. Posted here, the Yellow, American Vintage Airguns and who knows where else. All I get are "Oh, you should post on the DianaWerke. They know ALL there is to know about Diana's." The shame of it all............

Hi Red, you know I understand where you are coming from here and if the gun is that old is doubtful anyone on these forums will know much about it. I hate to say stuff like this but I have been into airguns for about 20 years now and the airgun trend is very high now but years ago most people did not buy German made airguns over here. I might get bashed but I bet you that say 50 years ago even was very doubtful even that most in America owned much other than domestic airguns at the time. Did you try to email Dianawerk? I beleive when I did they have someone there who is fairly good with English as I can always tell when I email companies over there by the response I get back, that is did they understand me or not. I would give that a try if anything.

Was kind of being sarcastic. Now, if this were a 350 I'm sure the thread would be copious. Hard to find anything on the GEM rifles on any site. Did get a response here with another post. Fun little gun.
