Another Dumb Scope Question

I have a 460 and use a Tasco Golden Antler 3-9x32 scope that I had bought for another gun which I returned. After about 1000 pellets, it seems that I have to readjust the elevation every 20-30 shots - not a good sign I assume. Has my 460 claimed its first scope kill?

"readjust the elevation after 20-30 shoots"

Did you?

check your screws before you shoot, ALL screws, stock and mount screws

are you saying 1 or 2 elevation clicks and then you go back to your original elevation setting's, does it happen only with elevation

range; does this happen at 20, 25, 30 yards

pellets; do you change your pellet sellection after 20-30 shoots

Terry; give us specifics something we can CHEW on LOL

Sorry About That

I'm shooting at 25 yards, I have checked all screws on the gun and mount, and it's just the elevation. I shoot a bit and then have to turn a few clicks up to get back where I was then later have to again click up. I have just switched to JSB Exacts but I would not think that they would cause a good pattern then a low pattern, would they? Thanks! Terry

my diagnostics on this is

IF you are dialing the elevation 1 or 2 clicks AFTER you have stored the air gun and then come back to shoot 1 or more days later, your air guns has to WARM up with some shoots to WAKE him up

shoot some 4 or 5 pellets without dialing the knob, rest for a couple of minutes and try again, then tell us your results

my 34 will do this; shoot high after stored for 2 or 3 days, I would crank up the elevation and after 10 shoots had to go down to the original position

"belive or not" temperature and humidity makes a difference, interior of the air gun and exterior also even on air guns with peep sights
