I must say I'm very impressed with my new RWS 34 .22 cal. Out of all my air rifles I'd say it's tied with my 54 as a favourite. It's open sight accuracy is very good, small game knockdown is very good, and long range accuracy and power both very good. I can see why it's such a popular and highly regarded model. Shot 1 snapping turtle, 2 pigeons and a squirrel. I look forward to many more hunts with this rifle and my dogs...hope I remember my camera next time. Thanks for all the earlier advice on the 34. I clearly bought an excellent litle springer!

Glad you like it. They are great guns but in .22 make a superb little hunter.

RWS makes 4 different 34's next air gun produced in that many variations is the 350, what does that tell you?

it is the bread and butter air gun in sales for RWS and has remained the same for many years, low priced, accurate, dependable and long lasting

my 34's are not picky when selection of pellets is considered, accuracy with them is another issue but even Daisy wadcutters "shine" with the 34 at close ranges

and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter"

After I had mine detuned slightly it became an entirely different rifle. Easier to cock, much more accurate, symptoms of twang completely eliminated. It now shoots as smooth and accurate as my tuned R7 but with more power.
