| hey Bud, what do you think if we do an experiment
there is a new kit out there. the Air Ventury by Pyramid Air, what do you think about using that kit but with a Titan Spring or the HW 80 spring on one of my M48 sidelevels?
are you game?
the spring in this platform is .560 OD x .148 thick in the original RWS spring w/33 coils measuring close to 11 1/4 inches
the HW 80 spring is a tad longer and the wire is a bit more stout, you will need some 2-4 pounds to cock with the HW spring
I think the M48 has the weight to hold a little more Spring Power and a good tune from someone like you, just an experiment but what if we hit "Jackpot"
this new kit has a top hat and rear guide all in delrin, it has a promise of keeping the spring alligned when compressed with little resonance, it needs a TRY to know if it is good, mediocre or a total bust
Warren
PS: your call Buddy, ready for a challenge? I will keep the M48 in whatever configuration you assemble it. But we are looking for power with ellegance. Power with the right harmonics.
and remember "it's 30% the gun and 70% the shooter" |
