Full shroud for a 54

I have spoken to Rich in Mich. about a full shroud for my 54. Does anyone have experience with full shroud on their RWS airguns? Sound, accuracy, weight and installation. After receiving my 54 back from John in PA. it's truly a different animal. It's really fun to shoot.

Happy Thankgiving to all airgunners,

Paul

I am glad you posted this as I am considering putting one on my 52. Either one from Rich fom Michigan or having Gene (http://www.airguntoys.com/index.htm) make me one. I just got my 350 back from a turbo tune and custom break from Gene and he did a hell of a job.

This one was converted to .25 by him and shrouded. Very accurite and no probems using it w/out disturbng the folks next door. Better balance than the factory set up. Go for it.

The top gun is a model 52 that was converted to .25 caliber by Rich, absolutely neighbor friendly.

JohnB and Don you have great looking guns. Don how do you know which one to shoot? How do you guys like your guns before and after Rich put on the shrouds. They really look great, but do they perform better? Accuracy and balance?

A little sanding in the front channel of the stock is all thats required for a nice fit and it will do it's job.

Shrouds

Rich, did a fine job with his shroud that was placed on my 850.(c02) making it impossible for the neighbors to be alarmed at the sound of my very loud gun. However, I don't understand how this will work for a spring gun. SS reports that a model 48 will have a decibel rating of about 83 decibels at 10 yards. What kind of results did you get with the 54?
