I have a 24 that the spring does not catch every time it's cocked
no barrel slam yet. Also 1 time after pellet load it discharged when the barrel was brought to locked position. Ant Ideas ??
the trigger sear is adjusted incorrectly (too light, not enough sear engagement). the rifle has been tuned and the spring is too long or spaced wrong. the piston rod end that engages the trigger is worn.
i would start with the trigger. i am only familiar with the adjustment of the
t05. what does the 24 have?
Good question. I can't read the dates ( to small for my tired eye's ) I'll
have to get my wife to check. The gun is in ex condition, the owner said
he never used it. After putting 20 or 30 pellets through it I haven't had
a problem.
I took the action out and it looked like there was plenty of Spring tar
on the main spring. It's been pretty consistant since I put it back !!
I'll cycle it some more and see what happens. It's a fun shooter !!
