When it comes to good finds you always have to be looking. I was just talking about Webley Scott and the turkish guns on a previous. I mentioned my good luck in finding a C1 Rafael Address in the Wanted pages that I posted. Today I went to the local gun shop to get some pellets. This shop only sells firearms with the exception of a few pellet guns at the end of the counter. A couple of Ben 392's and a couple of the new Beeman (s series, spain stuff). I noticed a Beeman sticker on a gun that was discontinued years ago. It looked like a C1 only it was new. I thought, well must be some new copy. I went down the road and turned around and went back to the store. I asked the owner to let me see the gun and sure enough it was a C1 with a San Rafael address. Brand new! He told me he had it sitting around in the back, later found it and put it on the shelf to sell. I picked it up for $240.00. Too bad it wasn't 22.but heck, why press my luck. Moral of the story, Just keep looking and ye may find gold.

A little Haggling

Actually, Hector I did a little bit of negotiating. He wanted $299.00. He went down for a discontinued gun by 10% and I got him another 10% for not being able to find the box. (He searchd the warehouse for over 30 minutes). Besides, I think a brand new Beeman C1 would have been worth $299.00 anyway.

Thanks
Good Shooting

What do I need to watch out for.

Hector, maybe you can give me some advice. This gun is brand new, never been shot. However, it has been in the warehouse for at least 12 years Plus. There is no rust and I have cleaned the Barrel. What else do you recommend I do?

Thanks
Dave
