Hi,

Thanks for a very informative forum, this is my first post on this forum. I have a Diana 48 in .177 and have a LW .20 barrel I would like to fit. What would be the best length to cut the barrel? and is there anything I need to know about removing the barrel from the action? is it loctited in, or is it only held in with a grub screw? I'd like to keep the .177 barrel for later use and don't want to damage it while removing it.

My collection includes a 1978 Gecado(Diana)35 and a few other brands.

Thanks in advance for your replies,
Best regards,
Carl Schulz

Carls, to my knowledge and

as far as older models are concerned, the barrel is press-fit.

It is impossible to release the barrel from the action without actually cutting it out and inserting a new barrel in its place.

If you find a grub screw that holds the barrels into the action in this model, please post a picture as there would be widespread interest in it.

TIA!

Un Abrazo!
